ESRF Tour

The GIANT young researchers network have the pleasure to invite you to a free visit of EPN: European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF), European Molecular Biology Lab (EMBL) and Institut de Biologie Structurale (IBS).

The visit will be Friday, June 2 at 2:00pm. It will last all the afternoon and will be followed by a BBQ with young researchers from the EPN.

The meeting point is at the EPN entrance at 2:00pm (71 avenue des Martyrs, tram stop Grenoble Presqu'ïle ) with a valid ID (passport or ID).

After a common introduction, 5 paths are proposed (you can select one of the 5 tickets available in the registration form) :

Structural Biology (storage ring, PSB platform, etc)

Soft Matter (storage ring, PSCM, etc)

Technical/ Engineering (optics labs, storage ring, etc)

Imaging (AFM lab, storage ring, etc)

Hard condensed matter (SESS lab, storage ring, etc)

Each visit last 3 hours 1/2 and the, we will all share a BBQ at the end of the day in the ILL chalet.
